Introduction class to the copper foil method of building stained glass panels. We will give you instruction on how to choose a pattern, cut glass, use copper foil, solder and clean your panel. Materials include everything you will need to complete a basic 8 x 10 stained glass panel.

M-1 Mosaics - 5 weeks, 2.5hrs

Introduction class of basic mosaic techniques. We will show you how to cut or nip glass; discuss appropriate surfaces and demonstration the use of proper adhesives; how to grout, clean and seal the finished project. Materials include everything you will need to complete a 2-D project (aprox. 12x16).

GBM-1 Glass Beadmaking I - 5 weeks, 2.5 hrs

Introduction class of basic beadmaking techniques. We will teach you how use glass rods of various colors and a torch to create a variety of glass beads. We will discuss, manderals, bead release, torches, annealing and cleaning beads. Everything will be included EXPECT MAPP Gas, which you can get canisters of @ Home Depot or Lowes in the welding dept.

F-1 Basic Fusing - 5 weeks, 2hrs
Thurs.: 7-9pm
$210.00 (Glass cutting skills necessary)

Introduction to using a kiln to fuse different colors of glass together. We will teach you the basics on kilns; compatible/non-compatible glass; and firing in the kiln. Everything will be included to create 4x4 tile/coaster and a small slumped plate or bowl.
